Commercial overview
The Changan NEVO Q06 is the newest model in the range, launched in China on 23 September 2026 as a 2027 model year midsize SUV. It is offered both as a battery-electric vehicle on an 800-volt platform, with 66 or 80 kWh LFP packs rated at 602 to 700 km CLTC and a 30–80 percent charge in about nine minutes, and as a range-extender (EREV) with a 28.4 kWh battery, 200 km of electric range and a 1.5-litre generator. A 2,940 mm wheelbase, rear-wheel drive and up to 330 kW make it a strong new-model opportunity for dealers in the Gulf, Russia and Central Asia.
Because the Q06 is brand new, it gives importers something competitors in their market may not yet carry. It is larger than the Q05 (4,837 × 1,970 × 1,670 mm) with a 2,940 mm wheelbase, and every version drives the rear wheels. Single-motor versions produce 225 or 245 kW; dual-motor versions mount two motors on the rear axle for 270 kW (EREV) or 330 kW (BEV) with torque vectoring, with 0–100 km/h in a claimed 4.8 seconds.
The two powertrains suit different markets. The 800 V battery-electric versions (602, 670 and 700 km CLTC) charge from 30 to 80 percent in around nine minutes where high-power DC chargers exist. The EREV version keeps a 60-litre tank and a 98 PS generator, so drivers are never stranded where charging is scarce — a practical choice for long routes in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan or southern Russia.
