Changan NEVO Q06 vs. Q05 vs. A07: Which Model Has the Highest Resale Value?

Dealers and fleet buyers often ask which Changan NEVO will be worth the most in three years. The honest answer is that nobody has solid export-market resale data yet: the Q06 launched in September 2026 and the A07 and Q05 have only been on sale for a few years. What we can do is compare them on the factors that usually decide used-car values.

What drives resale value for Chinese EVs abroad?

  1. Demand for the body style. In most of our markets, used SUVs are in higher demand than used sedans.
  2. Powertrain flexibility. Second buyers are more cautious about charging than first buyers, so models that also run on fuel are easier to resell where charging is limited.
  3. Battery confidence. Buyers look at battery chemistry and condition. LFP batteries are known for tolerating frequent fast charging.
  4. Parts and service. Values hold better where local workshops can service the car and parts are easy to get.
  5. Colour and edition. Neutral colours and mainstream editions sell faster second-hand.

Changan NEVO Q06

The Q06 combines the most in-demand body style with a choice of BEV or EREV, which should give it the broadest second-hand market. The uncertainty is that it is new: early adopters carry more risk until the model has a track record.

Changan NEVO Q05

The Q05's lower purchase price means less money is lost in absolute terms, and compact EVs remain popular with city buyers and ride-hailing drivers. As a BEV-only model, its resale is strongest where charging is good.

Changan NEVO A07

Sedans usually resell more slowly than SUVs, but the A07's 730 km BEV and 310 km EREV ranges make it attractive to taxi drivers and high-mileage users, who often buy second-hand.

Our verdict

If resale value is your priority, the Q06 has the strongest fundamentals: SUV body, two powertrains and modern 800 V charging. The Q05 is the lowest-risk choice for budget city buyers, and the A07 is the specialist pick for fleets. Whatever you choose, ordering popular colours and mainstream editions protects value more than any single model decision.
